Who we are
Mastery Hub is the learning and coaching platform operated by Business for Good Limited, trading as The CMO Coach (“we”, “us”), the data controller for the personal data described here. Company number 12701891, registered office Palmeira Avenue Mansions, 19 Church Rd, Hove BN3 2FA. For any privacy question, contact us at letschat@andygarrihy.com.
This policy explains what we collect when you use the platform, why, and the rights you have. Access is by invitation only, for people enrolled on one of our programmes.
Information we collect
Your account. Your name and email address, provided through Google sign-in when you first log in.
Your enrolment. The programme and cohort you are on, your enrolment status and dates, and your coaching profile (for example a link to your Myers-Briggs results, your target roles and context you share for coaching). We also hold a reference to your record in our customer system.
Your activity. Your progress through tasks, your completions and the written reflections you submit, and basic usage such as which pages you open and how long you spend on them.
Coaching notes. Notes that Andrew or a coach record about your progress to support your coaching.
Your workspace files. With your permission, the platform reads your personal Google Drive workspace folder so it can show your documents and track your progress. We store information about those files (their names, links and last-modified dates), not their contents.
Calendar invites.We add you as a guest to your cohort’s live-session calendar events using your email address.
Access logs. When an administrator or coach views your data, we record that access for accountability.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- deliver your programme and give you access to its content;
- provide and personalise your coaching;
- track and show your progress;
- keep the platform secure and maintain an access record;
- contact you about your programme.
How we use AI
We use AI to help us coach you, in two ways.
Assisting feedback.When we prepare feedback on your work, your coach may use an AI assistant (Anthropic’s Claude) to help draft or sense-check that feedback. A person, Andrew or a coach, reviews it before it reaches you. Anthropic processes this on our behalf and does not use it to train its own models.
Developing our coaching AI.We are building an AI coaching capability based on Andrew’s methodology. The content and interactions on the platform, including your work and reflections, may be used to develop, train and improve our own AI coaching tools. This stays within our control and our service providers, and we do not sell it.
If you would prefer your data not be used to develop our AI tools, email us at letschat@andygarrihy.com and we will exclude it.
Our legal bases
We process your data to perform the agreement under which you enrolled (contract), and for our legitimate interests in running the platform securely, improving it, and developing our AI coaching tools (which you can ask us to stop, as described under “How we use AI”). Where we rely on your consent, such as connecting your Google Drive workspace, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers that process data on our instructions to run the platform:
- Google, for sign-in and your Drive workspace and calendar;
- Anthropic (Claude), the AI assistant we use to help prepare and review coaching feedback;
- Supabase, our database and authentication host;
- Vercel, our application host;
- Sentry, for error monitoring;
- Salesmate, our customer and enrolment system;
- Xero, for invoicing;
- Zapier, which connects these systems.
Where your data is held
Our database, application and error monitoring are hosted in the UK or European Union. Google processes data in line with its own safeguards. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EU, it is protected by appropriate measures such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you are enrolled and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain our records and meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, provide it in a portable form, or restrict or object to how we use it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email letschat@andygarrihy.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
Access to your data is controlled at the database level, restricted to you and the people delivering your coaching, logged when accessed by staff, and encrypted in transit.
Cookies
The platform uses only the essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
The platform is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
